Get a Grip on Grief

Grief is painful and can be difficult to manage alone. Feelings of grief are not limited to the death of a loved one. Grief can be the result of a life transition, the end of a relationship, the loss of a job, a decline in health, a marriage separation or divorce, an empty nest or any change in life that causes feelings of loss. Symptoms of grief may include the following:

  • sadness
  • lack of energy
  • anger
  • sleep changes
  • aches and pains
  • feelings of anxiety
  • guilt
  • social isolation
  • appetite changes
  • low motivation

"Get a Grip on Grief" is a workshop designed to give you the tools to overcome your grief and reclaim your joy. In this workshop you will have the support of others who share similar experiences and feelings, the guidance of a certified coach and the opportunity to participate in activities that will help you develop a grief recovery plan. The group will be offered on Friday evening November 18, 2016 from 6:00PM-9:00PM and Saturday November 19, 2016 from 9:00AM-12:00PM.  Group size is limited to 20 people to ensure an intimate and personalized experience.
